This one is so very good, it has a softness in the shadows that suits the overall image, so it creates a beautiful ambiance within the image itself. In the previous image, the shadow looks "hard/stark" and I think it detracts from the overall "mood" of the image. However, that does not mean it a "bad" image, it means that it's a "hard" image, where as this image has both a nice "soft" side to balance out the "hard" side (which is the plants etc,etc) .... I really hope you understand what I'm trying to say Nadja, I'm not criticising you work (I would never do to any artist) I'm just letting you know how Brian sees it and my reaction to it. You really have taken a big leap forward my friend and I'm delighted for you Nadja especially with all the hard work (and shit that that goes with it) that you have contributed to your love of this beautiful art .... Bravo my friend!
I think that maybe, what you see is that the skin tones are still more saturated with this one. I saw that, wanted to improve it, because I like all images in a series to be more alike. But yes, actually this one is nicer, softer. Not sure what I will do about it yet. Maybe just leave it as it is. :-)) Always happy to hear what people think of my photos, Brian. No problem! Ik moet hier weer heel wat bekijken. Je blijft me verbazen Nadja met wat jij telkens weer voor fraais tevoorschijn tovert. Deze reeks vind ik heel mooi en heeft iets fragiels.
Ja, daar zeg je het, fragiel. Zo voel ik me ook wel bij deze foto's. Dat roze, en dat licht... Ik ben dan ook zeer blij dat je ze leuk vind, Colourit. Het foto- werk ligt hier even helemaal stil.
