Le concept du nu comme une oeuvre d'art n'est pas un concept nouveau, neamnmoins c' est le résultat de ce travail. Chapeau!

No, nothing new under the sun.
As we say here.
Or, as a friend of mine said:
There are no 'firsts' anymore.
That's really frustrating sometimes.
Being original is important to me.
So I just keep playing and see what happens.
Original or not.
:-))
Thank you very much, Dámaso!

Maybe it is, yes.
That's normal...
Dutch is such an obscure language...

can i say something? i laugh, here i am saying it. you show your body a great deal. i think it is absolutely important to recognize that this is not (necessarily) an invitation. that this is instead your property, your being, your house in this life.

i don't know. i just felt the need to utter that. sometimes people get confused when we show things, bodies, ideas, vulnerabilities. just because we show them, doesn't mean we offer them. it means, rather, that we are opening a door that says, this is me, this is one incarnation of me. and it begs, who are you? are you brave enough to show me?

(and of course, these utterings are only my own. i can not understand your motivations unless you tell me. they might be ideas i have never considered.)

Well, Erin, if I was offering myself I would have placed my phone number with it, right?
People would not have to be confused then, either.
If they are now, I don't care...
Maybe it's good to be confused sometimes.
If it questions how You look at other people.

It is an invitation.
An invitation to have a glimpse in my world.
The human body is the perfect subject, and canvas at the same time.
I try to convey things that I can not say with words.
With the self portraits I can do that the best I think, since it's about me.
Clothes set the mood of a photo too much.
They are distracting if you want to 'talk' about the 'human' on your photo.
For me: If it's no fashion photo, it has to be nude.

i think what you do is wonderful, nadja. you don't let us stop thinking about it, the naked form. we need to be put to the mettle.

Truly, Erin, I don't understand what the big deal about nudity is.
Really, I am so amazed that people still think it's anything else but normal.
I think it's kind of 'retarded' when people in this day and age still think nudity is something special, bad, scandalous.
I thought we were passed this, after the 1970's.
But, it seems that we have been regressing since then.
Regressing badly. Very badly.
I guess we need, another 70's.
Bigger and better this time.
But the way it's going these days...
I think we will enter in a new 1870's soon.
