Exquisite beautifully lit portraits, yes, those eyes pierce my computer screen.

Yes, I think this is one of the best of the whole series because of the eyes and face.
And the beautiful hair...
It doesn't happy too often that you can see this lady without the hat.
I'm really lucky I could photograph without the hat.
Still my special High- Tech lighting set up:
My external flash on the ground, bounced at the white wall on the left hand side.
And two 100 watt spotlights in a (high) table lamp on the right hand side.
:-))
Thank you very much, Leovi!

A short scenario inspired by this image.

- Voices In A Room -

So you've come.
I wondered if you would after the call.
Yes, the ad was not very specific.
I will be now.
Have you not learned to read between the lines?
Oh … such a pity.

You know you're late.
Upset?
No, disappointed.
I don't like to be disappointed.

It's spartan?...yes just this chair.
It's all I'll need.
Your comfort is not why you've come is it?
Besides unleashed demons care little of furniture.

No discomfort does not have to mean pain.
You know of course some consider pain a comfort.

Maybe you'll reconsider?
Now...really...such a pity.
Would it upset me?
No...it would disappoint me.
I don't like to be disappointed.

Yes the door is locked.
Yes it's quiet.

No I won't unlock it...right now.
We haven't spent our time together.
No I wouldn't call it deathly quiet.

You're uncomfortable.
Oh such a pity.
You shouldn't be uncomfortable.
You should be afraid.

Come now and sit...we'll start.
Oh such a pity...don't be like that.
It will just disappoint me.
And ….for the last time.
I don't like to be disappointed.

I'm not too sure if I would want to be in the room...
Sounds a bit creepy.
But, thanks anyway, Mister Wood!

Some of her images do give me a bit of a dark vibe. All black, stern look with piercing eyes, arched eye brows, confident pose with hand on hip, gloves and wicked boots.

You know her as a fun loving, laughing friend. I only know the image I see. I only have where my fragile mind drifts when I ponder what story the accumulated pixels might present.

I enjoyed writing it and the questions it left.

Was the caller male or female?

Was the assumed upcoming pain going to be real physical pain, psychological pain or totally imagined?

Is she a hooker?

Is she a Dom.?

Is she a strange kind of psychologist?

Is she your lover; role playing your favorite intimate game?

Creepy is fun sometimes and I guess if you didn't want to be in the room it worked this time. lol

Sure, creepy can be fun.
And yes, it worked!
My imagination went all possible directions... :-))
Do you often write stories, mister Wood?
I think you should publish them on a blog!
You could always lend some of my photos to illustrate if you wish!

Writing is a fairly recent addition to my life. I wouldn't say I write often. But some kind of story usually comes to mind when I look at an image.

When I do write it usually has an erotic tone to it. Erotica and I have a long history together; both the visual and written word. Of course the written word is really visual. Without good pictures for your mind to reference with the words, they are colorless.

Thank you for the invite to use your photography as inspiration. I surely will find much fodder for the grist mill here. If I do, I will definitely email it to you.

And please use D.L. - Mr. Wood sounds so formal and if there is anything true about me it's that I'm not formal. Besides it's 3 keystrokes less. lol

Well, D (That's even less keystrokes!)... :-P
Erotica and I have a long history together, too.
Especially literature.
And, I'm a very curious girl, so... yes, keep me updated.

I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season, perhaps big fluffy snowflakes will fall on your village and create a wintery wonderland, do you have snowshoes?

Nadja said...

Haha... Michael, I don't think too many Belgians have snow shoes.
We are lucky to have a bit of snow sometimes.
Umbrella's and rubber boots are the things we need here, summer and winter!
:-))
Happy holidays to you, too, Michael!
