My new project:
Photographing 'Femme Fatale', who became 71(!) this week, in some clothes that she made herself.
As I said before: She's a versatile lady!
This is a rain coat, but we will photograph some different style clothes, too.
And on Sunday I shall try to photograph her in her home, with her works.
We are having a great time together, and I love her as a model, too,
So I am very glad I can work with her so much, and stay in photography- shape, while I wait for a chance to do more nude- photography.
It's actually becoming a bit too cold on my attic for nude- photography, too.
Or... I need a super warm- blooded model!
If that happens to be you... Just let me know!
:-))

!!!Happy Birthday 'Femme Fatale'!!!

To have been born at that time and survived the horrors and hardships of war is to be celebrated.

We are also fortunate that you have such a wonderful friend that is willing to share her self with us; the faceless commenters that wander the web.

Those are some great boots. Her eyes pierce me as I try and visualize the transition from soft dark leather to the soft creamy skin of the inner thigh. I look forward to the progression of the project.

I shall send 'Femme Fatale' your birthday wishes, D.L. Wood.
Her family had an extra hard time during the war years.
Some stories this lady has, and she is good in telling them, too.

And yes, great boots, I love them, too, and I love the shine of the leather and the waterproof fabric, and how it reacts to the treatment I gave the photos.

Thank you very much, D.L.!

I have had a long love affair with leather. My weakness is coats. In fact I added a fine one to my collection yesterday. The second in two weeks.

The smell, the feel of the different textures, the difference between cheap and expensive. The sound, the creaking as the leather is stretched, rubbed and pulled. It always reminds me of the sound the rigging makes when the ropes adjust to the load of the ship as the wind pushes against the sails.

I would love to hear her stories. Too bad we have such a large pond and so many miles between us. We three could sit and share a bottle (or two)of wine and let the words tumble out far into the night.

Well, D.L., I don't drink (anymore) and 'Femme Fatale' doesn't drink alcohol either.
So I guess you shall have enough wine!
:-))
But, I bet we could talk until the early hours, yes.

Yes, leather is an amazing material.
I love it, too.
And 'Femme Fatale' always dresses in leather in daily life.
