:-)) It's a side effect or trying to make a technical reproduction of a Man Ray Portret. It was a good attempt, but not good enough. Maybe I show it later. But you know me, this is what I love, playing with images.
Toen ik deze foto, die liggend gemaakt is, op zijn kant bekeek dacht ik ineens aan de olie en azijn foto's die ik ooit gemaakt had. Ik koos er 1 uit die ik nog niet gebruikt had en het paste perfect. :-)) Dadelijk ga ik nog een technische reproductie- opdracht proberen, met een model. Ik hoop dat dat net iets makkelijker zal zijn dan zelfportret. Hartelijk dank, Karina! XXX

Had nog nooit van Man Ray gehoord (maar heb net een beetje gegoogeld), maar moest hij nu nog leven dan zou hij deze foto misschien ook wel gemaakt kunnen hebben (of zeker iets van dien aard), maar dat heeft hij dus niet. Het is wel geen "Man Ray" maar wel een "Nadja" en zo moet het zijn ;-)
:-)) Man Ray is zeker de moeite van het bestuderen waard. Hij was 'anders'. Ja, hij zou zoiets dus ook wel gedurfd hebben denk ik. De technische reproducties zijn niet mijn meest favoriete opdrachten. Het is de bedoeling om de foto zo gelijkend mogelijk te krijgen. Mat het idee dat je leert door na te denken over hoe de foto gemaakt is. Het is verdomd moeilijk! Licht, scherpte, compositie. Hartelijk dank, Andy! XXX

Nice this one! I like it. One improvement to my opinion:remove the whitish "smear" out of you face or decrease it's hardness so you can see what's underneath. Nice work!
That's what I love the most, working with the layers. Hiding some things, but reveal some story instead, maybe. :-)) I think you will see the face in the normal version of the photo. I'm still thinking if I can stand the shame, of all the mistakes that I made with the Man Ray copy. ... Thank you very much, A! XXX
i like the combination of the layer with the fot, looks great. to me the attentionpoint where a spectator is drawn to should be the face. that's somewhat the main part of the picture. by covering it, to my opinion, the picture is less balanced and attracting.
Man Ray is passed away a long time ago, the faults you make (like faults in copying him) could be improvements even in Man Ray's perspective. He didn't have all the digital tools that we have so what i only wan't to say is learn from him but put your own accents and styles to it without being ashamed. again there is nobody to be ashamed for, the guy will not critisize your work anymore.
I think it adds something. A little mystery, like a vail would do. In my view, it doesn't really hide much either. For most photos with my face, it wouldn't be enough! ... I was lucky here... :-))
No, true, Man Ray will not tell me how bad it is, as a copy. Or maybe he will! You never know. But, I am ashamed because I did not see some obvious things right away. The camera angle was wrong. You'll see. These are exactly the things we must do as much as possible the same as the original of course, for a technical reproduction.

Het is 1 van mijn olie en azijn foto's. Ik had een handdoek onder de schaal met azijn gelegd. De foto op zijn kant bekeken deed me denken aan een zwem- beweging. En ik dacht ineens aan het luchtbel effect van de olie op azijn. Zoals steeds als ik met lagen werk: Beide foto's zijn origineel, niet bijgesneden,gewoon op mekaar gelegd. En mijn hoofd paste net in de luchtbel. :-)) Hartelijk dank, Colourit!

Ik vind het super gaaf gedaan Nadja.
Mooi zoals de structuren, het licht en het model in een innige dans verstrengeld zijn geraakt.
Een foto die echt in het groot gezien moet worden voor het mooiste resultaat.

Deze bewerking heeft wel 'iets' geheimzinnigs!
Heel speciaal vind ik de kleuren die de foto doen 'verouderen'.
Het lijkt wel een graffiti-prent.
Het is 1 van mijn olie en azijn foto's.
Ik had een handdoek onder de schaal met azijn gelegd.
De foto op zijn kant bekeken deed me denken aan een zwem- beweging.

Zoals steeds als ik met lagen werk:
Beide foto's zijn origineel, niet bijgesneden,gewoon op mekaar gelegd.
En mijn hoofd paste net in de luchtbel.
