Testing for a new model series. There is a lot that needs improvement. And there is a lot that I need but do not have, like a second light source for my background. But here, just to show that I am still alive and... kicking. :-P
My god... don't remind me of the face... :-P Yes, new, made it today. So you see, I'm working! :-)) But I have more trouble than I thought I would have. So I am still thinking hard how to solve them. I will need electricity on my attic, for one. Hope to get it better soon so that I can start photographing models! Thank you very much, Robert! Big XXX!
:-)) Yes, Paco, my idea is to let the models take ' stiff' poses as if they were posing for a classic painting. I wanted to try to make a more barok mood. But I don't have enough good fabrics for that, yet. This reminds me more of Klimt' s paintings with the golden velvet and the patchwork. :-)) But, I LOVE Klimt, of course. One of my all time favorite painters. Thank you very much, dear Paco! Big warm XXX!
J'aime le resultat Nadja, mi-chemin entre la photografie et la peinture, le fond est trés plastique. En tout cas c'est diferent à tout ton travail antérieur. Gros bisoux.
Yes, colours...! Isn't that strange? I wanted to make them black and white, as usual. I just used nice colours to play with them in the black and white conversion. But, once again, I love the colours more... Think I'm a bit sick or something. Heeelp! :-)) Thank you very much, Sevillian! XXX
Hey Nadja, Beautiful 'paintings'! Nice location and like Robert said, great pose. It has got this 'secretary of an old library' look witch i certainly admire...
What??? Secretary of a library, me??? Haha.. this is a first, to get compared with that. I hope to photograph your wife in this set up, too. I have another model coming first, but soon I hope. Thank you very much, Rudy! XXX
absolutely stunning. Stunning! the expression on your face, the play of your shoes crossed, the dramatic intensity of the set and colour, the structure of the frame - as though it is painting but yet we must ask so many questions about art and reality. i love it, nadja.
Thank you very much, Erin! I look forward to work with models again. And I hope I will not get too much unexpected problems with the set up... I start to get stress already, good stress of course. :-)) XXX
a new version of Nadja, is perhaps a new pictorial stage, I like the plasticity of your gesture that contrasts with a studio background painting. I love a new way in which I hope to see progress. Kind regards
I like to try different things. I get bored very easily, otherwise. :-)) Next week a model comes posing, I can't wait to meet my first problems, with this set up. :-)) Even when I know some of them already. But, learning along the way of course! That's the most important. Thank you very much, Moncat! XXX

I like the atmosphere light and the pose is as the quietness of a painter's Studio.

Thank you very much, Me!
I'm really glad that you like it.
It's hard to be objective about the self portraits sometimes.
