And then, with some more and harder light, suddenly the colours remind more of Mondriaan.

whoa! what a change. is the available light?
such a difference. you will have lots to work with nadja. i like both ways of lighting for the different moods.

No, it's just more flash light.
Yes, there will be many possibilities with the light/mood.
It will be hard to decide which one to choose, when I work with the models.
That's the hardest part, choosing, same with editing the photos, so much possible.
Thank you very much, Robert!

Full color... Wow!!!
The use of more light makes that it doesn't look like a painting no more,... But it draws your attention again to a certain point in the picture. Plus it creates shadows to work with on the models. Witch i think will be nice... (and more difficult)hihi

That's absolutely right, Rudi.
I love to work with heavy shadows.
But one centimeter too much to the left or the right can ruin a photo completely.
Most portrait- photographers will use a softbox to create soft light and soft shadows.
Or at least a white 'umbrella' to soften the flash light. ...
Maybe after this series, or sooner, I will buy one, too.
I already thought about it of course... but my wallet says I must think about it more...:-))
Thank you very much, Rudi!

at this stage of your research, this is a risky version, you must be aware of the stark contrasts, but it's worth keep trying. I like the result.

Yes, Moncat, that's correct.
I don't plan on working with this high contrasts with the models.
I have enough of heavy shadows for now.
After the light spot series...
Too much photos get ruined because of the heavy shades falling on the wrong spots.
It's hard to predict, when you are working with a flash.
I will try to keep my light as soft as possible.
Thank you very much, Moncat!
