These days I love colour photos a lot, too.
But for this subject, with all the marble and marble- dust, black and white seemed perfect.
Thank you very much, dear Lila!

Une bonne serie sur ces artistes de la taille sur pierre. J'aime cette première photo ave le marteau en premier plan comme introduction au travail manuel de l'artiste.
Grosses bises pour toi.
Dámaso.

Yes, Dámaso, they use power tools a lot. But a big part of the work still involves hammer and chisel of course.
It's a pleasure to see the works advance.
Thank you very much, Dámaso!
Warm XXX!
Even in Belgium we have a heatwave at the moment.
Today 37C, that doesn't happen very often here... :-))

These two made me think of my dad, a carpenter until well into his 80s

I went to the city park once or twice a week the whole summer to photograph these artists and their works.
Actually, two artists are still doing the final touches of their work.
It was really amazing to see the works advance.
And it was a great project to practice my reportage- photography.
Thank you very much, Erin!
